Dan - dude quit with the lies already, I've never banned anyone accidently - I can check IP addresses and quite easily determine who is who....

Nad I seriously doubt anyone actually has enough depth of feeling about you to hate you.  Just not worth that kind of effort.

See what I mean about the lies...  Never had a problem with people saying CCS, just with people promoting our competitor on our BBS.  I wouldn't do it here even though this isn't actually CCS' board, it's impolite at best.  I do however have no problem calling liars liars no matter where they happen to have found a temporary home.  Don't like anyone in this small community of ours getting screwed by liars and cheats.

I do however find it cute that you don't want to hear explanations that prove you to still be a liar  ;D

I don't think you understand.  First of all, unless you have some type of miracle software that can show you my address, name,  and phone number in your IP tracing software, you cannot say it's me.  You don't know.  Your making a guess based on what you think are facts.  What if I was at a hotel using internet access, what if I'm using someone elses computer.. ect. ?  Right, Dan's picture pops up and tells Sean it's Dan  ::) You couldn't even tell me who my internet carrier is.  I'll tell you to save you the trouble of guessing.  Comcast at home, Covad at work, and Nextel when I'm on the road.  It's been that way for over a year, so anything other than that is not me.  Have a mod. check my IP from this post.  I'm at home so it will be Comcast.  
Also, you seem to think that I honestly give a rats ass as to what you or anyone else thinks.   ???  I told you what I think of you a long time ago.  Ain't nothing changed.  I'm just not one of your followers regardless of your position with WERA.  To me it doesn't matter.  Keep that in mind next time you want to comment about me.  That way you don't waste your breathe typing.  It's this simple:

DAN DOES NOT CARE WHAT ANYONE HAS TO SAY ABOUT HIM.

Now, in regards to you not caring about CCS being mentioned....  Why would you care at all?  WERA is bigger and "older" than CCS right?   WERA has their customers, CCS has their customers.   If anything, you should be happy to tell a racer to go race CCS.  That shows that WERA is secure on their standing as a race org.  It's kinda like how hotels will help you get a room at a competitor or an insurance company providing you a competitors quote.  It's good business.  Regardless of what WERA does, nobody is going to stop anyone from racing with both orgs.   It's childish to even try and cut people off because they are asking fellow racers for questions or help.   Oh well, nevermind.... it doesn't matter what I say, and I don't know why I wasted 3 minutes typing this out.

I have been as guilty as anyone of picking on Dan.

I am now trying to do it in more of a good natured way, just as I do with some people on the board who I actually know.

Maybe we should have a Forum rule that would be similar to that of another BBS that I frequent:

No attacking other posters. If you feel the need to harass another poster, don't do it. What is considered attacking other posters?

 - Bringing up their name in posts that they did not start or were not involved in, just to get a reaction from them.

 - Consistently responding to their posts and responding with no merit other than to belittle them.

 - In short, making a poster a target.

Dawn, for all  I know you may very well be already using a guideline such as this.

The whole problem really started when Dan admitted to shill bidding his bike up on eBay.  That pretty much turned the whole WERA board against him.

I think some people from over there are just trying to look out for other racers by "warning" others.
