Does anyone make pre-drilled full kits for bikes?  Like a full kit of nuts and bolts from front to back for bikes, but NOT in titanium  ???  I don't want to spend all year drilling out nuts and bolts, and I don't want to drop a fortune in Titanium that isn't going to do me any good anyways.  Just a replacement kit of predrilled nuts and bolts?  Full kits perferrably.  For an Italian Twin.

Jeff

There's a total of like 2 bolts that are REQUIRED to be drilled, and maybe 10 more that are a good idea.

I could see the sense if you were racing WERA where they have the 10lb safety wire minimum requirement, but otherwise, just drill them yourself...

I know of 2 such websites.  Later tonight I'll post them.  They're saved as favorites on my home system.

Yeah, I know but I want to just get it out of the way with the 10 lbs. of saftey wire now so if by chance I end up doing a WERA round, which I probably will at Grattan, I don't have to do it mid season.  I"m lazy, so I'd rather spend a couple hundred $ now and get it done.  I"m going to saftey wire the whole bike.

I need to probably saftey wire my butt to the seat too  :P

If you're that lazy and have that much money, drop it off and I'll do it for you for $200.

;D  I have an issue with drill bits.  By the time I drill 6 bolts, I'll go thru $100 in bits ::)

DEAL !

One thing you have to remember, I am a mechanical cluster**** and I have no problem admitting it.  Electrical I can do with my eyes closed, but mechanical, and I'm just asking for trouble.  I know it.  I'll hurt myself by the second bolt.   It's cheaper to just get it done than to pay for stitches  ;)

Me?  30 trips to Home Depot isn't enough for me to call a real carpenter.

Not me.  I know when to call it a day.  I only do what I know.  Everything else gets handed off to someone else.  I don't do even my own oil changes.  After I spend 45 minutes stripping the drain plug, and then 3 hours trying to find another, I figure $20.00 for an oil change isn't a bad deal.   ;D

You break drill bits because the nuts/bolts are case hardened... this means that the inside is soft and the outsides are hard.  You have to take it real easy when you're about to go through it...  Keeping the bit straight is also important, using a drill press and punching a starter mark on the nut/bolt make this easy.
I wire my entire SV650 with ***1*** bit (~10 holes).

Ps. You can't change your oil yet you do electrical work?  Did you ever work for a British chap named Lucas?  ;D

;D  I design electronics.  The only time I get dirty is if I have to debug an application or during actual installation of prototypes.  Other than that, I'm a desk jockey  :)
