Arrggh >:(

Dan, visit the Grattan website http://www.grattanraceway.com/thetrack.html.  They've renumbered the corners.  There's no longer a 10a and 10b.  The bus stop/hairpin is now turn 10.

Ya gotta know what time it is Holmes 8).  Otherwise you're just conmfusing everyone with you earlier posts.

Peace.  Out

WTF  ??? >:(

Does that void our bet  ???

Just kidding  ;D :P

Damn, now I gotta try and remember it all again.  It took long enough learning to count to ten the first time.  Now I gotta go to 12  >:(

QuoteT5 was awesome.  I played with it a lot and I ended up being fastest through there when I didn't touch the brakes, but let off on the way up the jump and caught a downshift on the way down.

The bump in 10a didn't bother me much.  But T12, all the way across the track, coming onto the straight is rough as heck, and you're super hard on the gas there.

Damn Dan! >:(

Now you got my boy JeF4y mixed up.   He's using a mix of the old and the new corner numbers.  He can't explain where the hell he is on the track. ;D

BTW Jeff, 1:30 laps in the wet, first time at Grattan and not knowing the lines is DAMN GOOD!  Way to be!

Sorry, but at the last 34 track days I did, there were only 10 turns, kinda, I think.  You know what I mean.  They only had it numbered up to 10  ;D :P  Never did figure out the a/b thing though  ???

Don't matter for out bet though.  They can label them 1001, 1002 for all I care, your still gonna lose the bet  ;) ;D 8)

I'm really looking forward to getting soem seat time in with you guys! All work and no play makes Monte a dull boy!

I pick up the 2004 RSV this weekend at Barber and the RS-250 is almost back in action after I treated it like a rented tux on prom night!

You guys are riding on teh 5th at Grattan, correct?

Should we run backwards for a session or two?

LOL... I tried to use all the new corner numbers since I don't know any of the old ones.  I was referring to the right hander right after the jump.  That is T5 right?

The jump is T5.
The esses are T6.
The bowl is T7.
The sweeper is the sweeper (T8 ).
The hairpin is T9.
The right after the hairpin is 10A.
The left onto the straight is 10B.

The numbers stay the same when running CCW (you don't switch them, so 10B is in effect "turn 1")

Another RSV?  I thought you just sold your ex...........  Anyway, good to hear that you will be getting your RS250 back soon!  Yes, I'll be at Grattan riding with you on July 5th!   ;)

Backward please!  You'll need to show me the line you used though!   ;)

I returned the 2002 Mille after two seasons that Jeff Botrel now rides (and quite well I might ad) on track days.

While we are at Daytona doing street demos some pinhead grabbed a HUGE handful of front brake and crashed a brand new (>500 miles) 2004 RSV. It was hurt too bad to be returned to street trim and just bad enough to be a track only bike! So being the oportunist that I am, I snagged it. We put Sharkskinz on it, OZ wheels and a "few" other odds and ins. Todd Ross from Lighning Motorsports in Port Saint Lucie Florida (Shameless Plug there!!!) did all the work and it's sweet! I can;t wait to ride it!!

Sweet!  I rather you be riding your RS250 with that monster engine kit (hopefully you worked out the problem/s) to show me the line though!   ;)

A lot of us will be using the 5th to tune up for the WERA national on the 16th.  Please don't confuse us with too many sessions counter......maybe 1 or 2 after lunch.
PS  I have a business opportunity for you.  Call McCracken he has my number.
