Or am I going to come home with all the trophies?

I guess you are...

Our next date should be the BFR date in July.

I'm thinking about maybe running up there for the day tomorrow. I haven't registered for anything but my stuff's still packed so I might as well get off my lazy butt and go from the last row.  I need to find a schedule online first...

Oops, scratch that.  From Fastrax website it looks like 3 hour endurance tomorrow and Sprints on Sunday. Why doesn't CCS post a schedule??
I guess I'll sleep in.

I'll be up there June 28 & 29 for trackdays, but that's probably not what you meant.   ;D

No trophies.   :-/ ;)

Mike Roeser and I are planning on heading up there tonight to run the endurance tomorrow.  As of right now, it's depending on the weather.  If it's going to rain, we're not going.  No reason to risk crashing and hurting myself if we're just going there for fun.

Do you know if there's going to be a Michelin and Dunlop guy out there?  Mike forgot to ask when he called yesterday... and we're waiting to hear back from them this morning.  No tire guy = no Grattan, as neither Mike nor myself have anything to run on.

I was told that there will be a tire guy there tomorrow.  I would have to think so, given that most people will put new rubber on for the endurance race.

Weather looks good.  No rain until later in the evening supposedly ..

Mitch Stein will be there with Dunlops.

I won't be there. :'( :'( :'(
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Was supposed to go, but now, no.
CCS AM 815... or was that 158?

Jeff

Well, if you didn't come, you didn't miss too much.  It was an "okay" weekend, but nothing special.  I never realized how much I depend on and like all you clowns, until I got to a track and knew like 1 person (vaguely)...  Definitely out of my element there.

I didn't do too bad for my first time at the track.  Nothing spectacular.  Got spanked by the locals, but that was expected.  Don't know that I'll ever go back though unless they repave it.  It was like racing over a million beer cans covered with tar, and every 12th can you hit would spit beer on the track...  The surface is inexcusably terrible.  The facilities are nice, viewing is spectacular, layout is great but I'd condemn the joint on the poor surface alone...

Full race report pending...

Oh yeah, in case you were expecting a Fasttrax/CCS relationship at any events, cancel your expectations.  "F*** you Bob, I'm leaving and I'll NEVER return.  Goodbye" - Bill Furhman to Bob Stanley.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

I think this quote was a little uncalled for to be posted on the board.

CCS is only an affiliate with Fasttrax.  We were there to the run the computers as they have no one.  Yes things did get a little heated but if you were not at Nelson Ledges and if you new the situation from Saturday and Sunday at Grattan you would have agreed.  You can only put up with someone back stabbing CCS and putting down our riders for so long.

By the way, it is Bill Fehrman.
