We'll not run any "backwards sessions" since you asked. I don't want to confuse anyone! Need teh local boys to stay sharp and kick some butt!!

Sweet.  But of course after the National, nothing but CCW to prep for the last WERA round.  :)

QuoteThe jump is T5.
The esses are T6.
The bowl is T7.
The sweeper is the sweeper (T8 ).
The hairpin is T9.
The right after the hairpin is 10A.
The left onto the straight is 10B.

The numbers stay the same when running CCW (you don't switch them, so 10B is in effect "turn 1")

Sorry Eddie, but you're so last week too ;)  Hop over to the Grattan website http://www.grattanraceway.com/thetrack.html.  They renumbered the corners this winter.  It actually makes sense now.

JeF4y, you're right about the jump.  It's just before turn 5.

Maybe not, Eddie.  Now I could be wrong on this, but I think they left each turn where it was before the renumbering:D

At my pace, it was reall easy to notice every thing.

BTW, what's your opinion of the stuff they used as a sealer?  That concrete grey coloured stuff.  A bit distracting I think.  Not super grippy (like the patch in/exiting turn 5 @ Beaver) - in fact it seemed slippery in the wet.  But you've raced there in the wet.  You should have a better feel for that than I.

It's fine - it's all fine.  All the new stuff isn't even noticeable to me.

The only place I actually change my line when it's wet is the sweeper - and that's minor.  I just cross the sealer at a different spot (more vertical on the bike).

The common saying:  If you can go fast at Grattan, you can go fast anywhere.  It's true (except maybe at VIR for the first time  :) )
