I believe that is a very decent lap time for a newbie at Grattan.  In fact, awesome!  I believe the real fast 600 guys lap around 1:24's with the average around 1:27s'.  That's is if the track is completely dry.

Really?!?!?!  From what I rememberd, I am still faster than you on my 400 with you on the big Italian V-twin at both Grattan and Gingerman, and I basically pass yo on will!   :o ;D

We'll see.  If you pass me this year, at all, I'm selling my house, and using the money to get private lessons from Rossi himself  8) ;D

Bah, if that was your first time at Grattan, and you ran a 1:30, your doing awesome.  Go to mylaps.com and look what the WERA boys ran in the same class.  I think first was like 1:28/1:29's for novice.   1:30 kicks butt, especially on your first time out at Grattan  :o

I spent thousands of $ on trackdays at that track just to get to 1:35's near the end of the season.  I did every single STT day at Grattan, and started the season running 1:40's and taking school, after school, after school...  :-[

I wasn't running novice, I was running expert...  But a novice that knows the track will most likely walk all over an expert that doesn't, especially on a track as complex a Grattan...

I believe you mean 2:00!!!!!!  Then you slowly quicken to just under 1:50's..............   ::) ;D
