Damn dude, I figured you wouldn't want them to run at Vegas! At least there are no concrete walls at BW!

Are you going to be able to make it out to Firebird for the last race of the year?

Yeah Will, I'll be there.  I'll be dialin' the new R6.  I hope to hold some of my points leads in my classes.  So tell Tristen to stay up late and party. ;D  I'll see you guys there.

On another note...I have my 2000 R6 for sale.  It needs an upper fairing but otherwise it is exactly as I raced it.  And yes.. it is totally straight.  I want $4,000.00 for it.  I think that's fair, the bike is plenty fast.  Maybe you know of someone that might be interested.  I'll help get it to CA. if I need to.

I'll see you in Phoenix,
Later,
Dave

You guys all missed an AWESOME weekend at Arroyo (New Mexico) this past weekend!  The Arroyo Secco group are way more friendly and racer oriented that CCS could ever hope to be...and they have a great track!  Check it out next time CCS screws you over!

Not a bad letter Garth.  But my name has no s on the end of it. :o  You would think CCS would of called say the top 10 plate holders to let them know whats going on.  I know I am spending more than $2500 a weekend and thats not includeing the cost of labor.  I also received a phone call from Tom @ Pirelli(which happen to be the best tires)that he arrived @ Buttonwillow and no one had contacted him and informed the event had been cancelled.  How many other vendors made the trip and were not informed? ???  CCS really needs to take a look hard look in the mirror about some polices and issues.  In the long run they will drive off the people who have supported them from the begining. :'(  So Streets here we come

Glad ya had fun out there.   :)  Now you can kinda see why we race ASMA as our priority.  Much more of a "club racer" attitude & laid back there.  Roger, the guy who runs the show, was one of those fed up with other orgs racers, and took ASMA over.  It's been great ever since.  Can't say enough good things about it, and it's just going to get better.  Plus, I love the track.

Hope to see ya out there sometime again!   :)

Hey Dave that's great news you'll be out there  I dont know if I even have a chance to contend with your points lead. I was notified I can't race a 600 until I turn  16 so there goes my season! :'(

When did they tell you that??!!!!?

You've been racing the 6 all year, NOW they tell you that you can't??  Who told you??  I've never heard of that before.

When do you turn 16??  Will it be before the beginning of next season??  It seem to be a real shame, you have a lot of talent and they are holding you back by not letting you race the 6.

Sorry about spelling your name wrong. Don't feel to bad I made a lot of typos in that letter now that I read it again.

 ;D

Dave,

We'll be at Firebird and BW. I dont care if I have to build or buy a top shelf SV650, we'll be there.

SlowDragon

Can they really do that? Surely there's a precedent that's been set by allowing Tristan to race all year on the ZX?

If he's not allowed to race for the last round of each region that sucks.

Team_nuclear123

No precedent, no exceptions... I guess its a rule we missed... Looks like we wont be at any of the races the rest of the year, and just make a strong charge next year.

Sure would like to know who pointed it out so late in the season, when the championship is being contested... I guess if you cant win based on talent, you can  win on guile...

Oh well... Start planning for 2004 now...

I tried to talk Decreasing_Dave out of reporting you, but he just wouldn't listen.  I mean, hell, I have a huge lead on you in all of the classes I race in, so it wasn't me.  ;D

Seriously, though, that sucks man.  To race all season and to have them tell you that you can't race the last round is a load of crap (to put it mildly).
