Thats F@cking B@llsh@t that thay won't let you race. Dude CCS is really pissing me off lately. It thats the rules then they should have not let you race in the first place. But to let you and then tell you no before the last race is just wrong.

Perhaps his age was not shared until recently.....

Just a thought   :-/

The rule in question....

2.1 CCS AGE REQUIREMENT - Applicants must be at least 14 years of age. Applicants below the age of majority in their home state must provide a notarized statement of permission from a legal parent or guardian. Championship Cup Series reserves the right to restrict participation in any event based on age and/or specific track regulations.
2.1.1 Riders between the ages of 14 and 16 are limited to Lightweight Class machinery.
2.1.2 Riders under the age of 16 are not permitted to compete at Daytona International Speedway.

Look forward to  racing against you next year , you are gonna go expert right?  When will you be 16?
Well later Tristan

Yeah I am mad but oh well the rules are the rules. Dawn, they knew i was 14 the whole season" Tristan Schoenewald, only 14 ..." that is what the announcer would say! I am gonna race expert next year for sure so I will see ya''ll next year and have a great time at the last two rounds.(without me) :'(

Dawn,

Your age has to be shared when you get your lisc, a notarized copy of your birth certificate. Someone evidently called and complainded that Tristan was too young. God knows he cant handle that big scary bike. I guess I shoudl really put away the big mean Ducati Ive got sitting in the garage before it scares him.

Theres always next year. I wonder if he can run as an AM for 2004 now?? LOL

QuoteI tried to talk Decreasing_Dave out of reporting you, but he just wouldn't listen.  I mean, hell, I have a huge lead on you in all of the classes I race in, so it wasn't me.  ;D

Doug, Doug, Doug....when are you going to learn...

Bashing me over the forum will not make you faster than me....

I know that you have to ride "the big bike" to compensate for.....well lets just say the "littler things" in life....and yet I still beat you.  Tisk Tisk

Two questions:

Why do people get upset when they get caught breaking the rules?

Why do you automatically assume someone turned you in?

I find this conversation highly entertaining based on the fact that you got caught doing something you weren't supposed to be doing (inadvertantly because it's looks as though you didn't actaully read the rulebook) and can't wait to place the blame on someone else.

ROFLMAO

I had no idea that we were "breaking the rules" no one ever mentioned it to us, tech, reg, nada. Call it an oversight.

I was told someone "turned us in" for being the rule breaking outlaws that we are. And for winning a races.

Theres no "blame" the AM championship just isnt that hearbreaking to us. Its no big deal, rules are rules, and well deal with it. Next year, he can run that big scary 600 all year....

Guess we'll just have to do it all over again next year.

Eric Kelcher

FYI you can run up a class ie run lightweight equipment in Middleweight classes
