QuoteI'm a little disappointed that there isn't a GTU class at Arroyo.

Aside from the basic desire to run that class on that track, I have obligations to sponsors for it.  I guess those races won't count toward my quest for a an overall win.  :-/

I'm sorry to quote myself (I work for the Gov'mint, we thrive on redundancy)  but after I sent that message I realized something very important........

When CCS did away with the PAC Region, I lost my tire sponsor (Pirelli, shameless plug, but pertanent none the less)  My Pirelli sponsor is based out of Cali and without racing there, he will be taking his support to other series.  There is a different supplier for the Arizona/Nevada area.  However, my sponsorship was with Tom Jirkovski of CRS, not directly with Pirelli itself.

No support, No sponsorship.

THANKS CCS  >:(

But CRS isn't a Pirelli distributor anymore.  http://venus.roadracingworld.com/roadracingworld/scripts/NewsInsert.asp?insert=11217

I know, but I have inside info.  My ride  was secure with Tom and Pirelli (don't ask me how yet ;)).

It was a good ride, wouldn't have had to buy tires for the season. That would have been HUGE for the racing budget.  Now, who knows........

I've been in contact with Chris, he's the AZ/NV Pirelli guy.  He has no reason to support any promisses that Tom made, why should he?  I guess I'll just have to wait and see in January when Pirelli's budget is final.  :-/
