I went to the Cycle Jam to ride endurance on someone else's bike. At VIR where I instruct with Conrnerspeed so I am at the track all the time, even in the rain on DOT's. I crashed twice in 2 days. I have crashed the last 3 WERA races I have been to over a 3 year period.

I have not crashed in a CCS race since I was an amatuer.

That is all the proof I need to stay away!

I race with WERA & CCS. There is no need to go bashing and spewing BS.
If you have a problem with the ENTIRE WERA organization, than take it up with the proper person, not here on the BBS where it appears you are slamming all of WERA. Jeez in just a few threads down there is an entire field of complaints about CCS. Grow up.

WERA doesn't ever say anything about anyone's riders.  We never have an never will.  Some WERA riders may think this but what does that have to so with the sanctioning body as a whole?

Only insinuated it to poke fun, never done so seriously and never would because it's silly.  The fast racers run with more than one sanctioning body - it's how they get more track time and get to be the fast guys.

Mongo...being a very unbiased person cuz I don't care who I race with as long as I'm racing...I have heard a lot of trash talking by WERA members about the CCS sucking and everybody telling me to race with WERA cuz the guys are faster and I'll get better quicker....yada, yada, yada.  Who cares...I say bring it to Daytona and let's have at it.  By the way, i'd be happy to race in WERA if it wasn't so far for me to go and my bike was legal in the same classes.  No fun riding against 110+ hp 600's on a 10 year old bike with 92.  Hint, hint.... ;)

Also as far as riders tlaking smack - well duh.  No different than Bradley going on and on about how CCS is better because they allow novices to race literbikes.  People talk shit all the time in an effort to justify decisions they've made, no biggie.  There is no easy way to quantify racers into one sanctioning body or another so no way to prove anything one way or the other.  We both run club races and pro/am races and we've both had riders go on to World Championships (at least I think we both have).  So what's it all prove?

lol, pretty funny stuff. mongo hit it right. what would a sanctioning body have to do with how fast someone is. people will always find a way to seperate themselves from other groups. and as dave said, we all race so who cares. 8)

Low blow Mongo...hey that rhymes. ;D  The bike is running great now.  It only had probs cuz I put the damn thing in the water...oops.  As far as the hint goes...I'd love to ride some N-FL races on the CCS off weekends at Jennings and also come to the Grand Champs and maybe even a national or two, but only as a ltwt on this bike.  I'll have a 600 by the middle of next year for the other classes.  Keep me posted on your decision. :)
