Guy, you are ruining my life.

What does a guy have to do to win the potatoe head award?

Lets see (paying attention Gordy), I had a brain fart and tossed my bike into
the turn 14 gravel trap leading the GTL team challenge (not pushing hard at all).
Then I fell on the grid push starting my mighty tz125 during the riders school race - it is even on video.

I don't think Guys latest antic should count since it did not happen at the race track.
With no reliable witnesses I think Guy is fibbing.

Damnit Guy you aren't going to win my award!

Now I'm new to this so someone will have to explain, as I understand it the current year Mr. Potato Head award holder gives up his/her award (quite willingly if I understand correctly)  to the new recipient. So If we have a tie that means that forevermore there will be 2 Mr Potato Head awards?

Oh boy, this could easily spin WAY out of control.

Brian, for your information, Meghan won the coveted Potato Head with off track antics, so that is not an excuse, Guy is still in the running. Now granted, you've been working mighty hard this year to win it. Does that mean if you get passed up for this presitgious honor you will race next year and try to snag the big prize?

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Alexa is right, Megahn won for running over a go-kart track worker in Daytona. I was an eyewitness to the event.  Brian, this is one race I am not trying to win, please do all you can to snatch the potato from my hand.

The official rules for receiving the award are as follows:
1) The current potato head makes the rules.

That is it, can't get any more simple

Is there an official Trophy for this award at the banquet?  :lmao:

Yep..  It is literally a Mr. Potato head mounted to a trophy base.  There is only one and the winner keeps it for one year, then selects the next idiot before the banquet.

I will see if I can get Ed to post the list of past recipients and there acts of stupidity

Well guy, I can honestly tell you that in my personal opinion falling off your motorcycle while push starting it is way worse than high siding and then crashing a car on the way back from the hospital. You were doped up rite? I thought so. I vote for Brian.

Now, granted I wasn't actually with Guy when he "severely dented" my car, but he did call me.  I am glad someone else brought up the Mr. Potatohead award, because I plan on pleading with the powers that be, mainly Gordy Lunde (who happens to hold the award currently).  I do have pictures of the aftermath; Guy, would you mind if I post one?   By the way, it's amazing how a little duct tape and a tie-down can hold things together.

That's what I thought, Guy.  I will probably post a photo later today or tomorrow.  Boy, did I have some explaining to do at work about the condition of my car.  I told people I had some custom work done on the car.
