Thumper that sucks. Barber turn 1 is a bad deal for the LW class it seems. Wasn't there a pile up last year in turn one? Did they take you to the hospital? They coulda made us roommates. You probably got out of the trip to the hospital, wish I wouldn't have gone. Sorry to hear your season is over, but I think mine is too.

Anybody with photos of any of these crashes?

And Diablo, yes this is supposed to be the class where we remember we all have to work on Monday.

I didn't go till I got home.Spent all day mon. getting tested. Just 3 badly broken ribs. I'm rather lucky said the Dr. .She said she's seen worse injuries when people fall from ladders like I did. There was a pile-up last year that I narrowly escaped. I always concidered the LtWt classes more mellow. It seem's over the years with number of entry's increasing that so has the level of competition.

the lightweight classes has become one of the most competitive classes out there. The buels dont blow up as much as they use to and the fuel injected sv's are making decent power also.I think there is more elbowing and bumping going on than in the heavyweight classes.....it just sucks that somtimes these pile ups happen..If I was there I think I could have been caught up in that mess..The #64 bike was a friend of mine so I hope he is ok also :-/

In my 2 visits to Barber I've noticed that nobody (mostly SE guys) cares if someone allready has the race line into turn 1. They just keep pushing in until they make room or someone crashes. I hope they got good results and were awarded big contracts for next season. As for me, I have a regular job, a family to support and do this for fun. :(

I just checked the results. It seems #64 was in only one race all weekend. Why bother?

I have a brand new tank in my storage locker.  I could get it to Edgar in MN pretty quick.
