Anyone have a good, comprehensive list of track tires available? Recommendations are welcome. I know this is subjective but I'm looking to see what I should be looking for in a tire (good, bad, cost, rain tire, etc)

Check out //www.masonracintires.com for good info on Michelins.  Tom Mason is top-notch when it comes to tire support.  You can't beat him.

Take a look at this site. I feel these guys have competitive rubber for the dollar and are usually quick on getting tires to you in a hurry.

Yep.  Tom Mason of MasonRacinTires is another great reason to be a Midwest racer.  We're pretty lucky anound here.... when it's warm enough to race!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Michelin race tires have the reputation of being the best tire you can buy, and doing business with Mason Racin has always been enjoyable.  But if your looking to save a little cash you might try the Bridgestone 002's or thier slicks.  They are about $50-$75 less per set and have a better contingency program.  I have always had pretty good luck running the 002's, and Bridgestone Slicks (to me) are as good as any.  Unfortunatly I don't think there is any track side vendor for Bridgestone at any of the CCS MW or GP events.  You can get them from Cafe Racer though if you have your own means of mounting and balancing.  816-221-0711 ask for Nick.

Oooh, wait until he needs to balance one of your tires! It's going to be one of those "hey, what happened to the tire iron?"

Don't give up on your dreams! If an illiterate like K3 can write a book, imagine what you can do!
