I use Michelins.

I get them from Tom Mason or Walt Schaefer.  Good people.

If you want choices, I think you have the opportunity to think about Dunlop too.  I've had a relationship with Jim Allen and the folks there and the good people at 4&6 who will be doing the Dunlop service in the Midwest.  

I think those are the best choices.  Prices will always be competitive for good competitive tires.  Not really a way to skirt around that one.  The race tire guys understand what tire works where and also have up to date and new compounds and constructions that may be available.
