I've been hunting for a famous racer who might like to read and endorse my novel.  Of course I haven't got any money, and felt it necessary to state that up front.  I've recieved a bunch of No's.
Tonight I got a yes.  One of the greatest roadracers of all time wants to read my book, and then he'll decide if he'd like to endorse it.  Just the thought of this guy reading my stuff makes me want to have a panic attack!  I mean, the dude is a GOD!  Now I'm almost scared to send it to him.  But I will, of course...
Holy Schiznet!  What have I done?

The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I wouldn't get all worked up over Super Dave like that. He's just a regular guy.  :P ;D

you're giving K3 more credit than he deserves!   Actually, he's all excited because Cornercamping Dan agreed to read it! ;D

Not me.  I'll wait for the audio book in ACC format so I can put it in my iPOD for my Detroit to Las Vegas flights .   Plus, I can't read, don't ya know...  ;D

That makes sense. He's a legend in his own mind.

How'd he get back on here anyway? Can't we get an innoculation of some sort? He's like a bad rash infecting posts.  I suppose now I've aggravated it by scratching at it.... sigh...

I'm not going to say who, because I don't think that it would be fair to him, or a smart or proper thing for me to do.  Think American. ;)  No more clues.
Dan, Dan, Dan.  Don't you realize that cracking open a brand-new book, curling up in your favorite chair, and popping open a cold beer is one of the finer things in life?  Reading shows committment.  Listening to a book on tape just isn't the same.  When you read, your mind gives depth to the characters and situations beyond what is printed on the page, simply because it can.  You'll re-read a line if you're interrupted.  You don't comprehend or retain nearly as much if you listen instead of read.  I've listened to BOT in the car, and missed important stuff just by paying a toll!  Great writing is meant to be read.
OK, I know I'm a freak.  But I READ all three books in Lord of the Rings years ago, then read them all again just before the movies came out.  I LOVE to read.  Maybe that's why I write.

Uhm... uhhh...   huh?

I don't have a long enough attention span to sit down and read a book.  My little brain is always pegging the limiter with other things and my mind drifts off on work and such.

Then, these damn voices keep popping in and out of my head.   Bah.. never mind

 ;D :P

Just let me know when the movie remake comes out  ;)
