Well, you do have the Corn palace. ::)

Yeah, we grow corn, soy beans, potatoes onions, all sorts of farm stand produce, cranberries and we are the largest domestic source of ginseng. All the hops and grains for beer production used to be grown locally "way back when". "Pabst Farms", a real beer farm just west of Milwaukee, is now being developed as homesites and retail real estate. It's in prime "lake country", and worth a small fortune. Progress. ::) :(

as a red blooded american who enjoys his beer this saddens me :'(......however as a home builder that does not bother me. i'm torn beer or money which would i rather have ???
