Cause I got scammed, and went after him. Ebay name: jasrace0000 email: jason_ormbrek@hotmail.com

Here's the story. Last April I purchased a rear rim and a tank for my SV race bike. The guy (Jason Ombrek) I bought it from shipped them out pretty quickly, and I left good feed back on ebay. A few weeks later, I saw he was selling the matching front rim on eBay, I contacted him, and he agreed to sell it to me. We agreed on a price, and I paypal'd the money, $250 for a rim and rotors. Good deal. Great price. He was going to ship it in a few days. Cool. I should have received it in 2 weeks but that came and went.  He said he just moved and would send to out. Another month goes by still no rim and no contact from him. This went on for months. So I started to find out what I could do. I contacted Ebay, they said that because I didn't get the rim through EBay, they couldn't go anything. I contacted PayPal and because it was over the 30 day period, they couldn't do anything. So I found the web site www.ifccfbi.com The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). So I contacted them, and they sent a letter to where he lived in Portland Or. Well his mother in-law got it, and called me with his new address. Apparently, he borrowed 10k from her for a bike and then parted it out and never paid her back. So she is going through the courts to get it back.  So here is another email I just received from someone else. Check this out..  So if you come across, jasrace0000 on eBay, beware..

Hello Mr. Paul. My name is Crystal, and I understand you have come across problems with a man named Jason Ormbrek, (eBay username jasrace0000, I believe).  I saw a copy of the complaint form you had sent to his former address, which was received by his mother-in-law.  This is how I acquired your email address.  I know this man personally, and I can assure you are not the first ... or the last person he has scammed.  He has caused many problems for many, many people.  In fact, I've heard him brag on several accounts about the many people he and his wife, Harmony Schmitt, have scammed from eBay.  You just happen to be the first one I had contact information from.  Anyway, I am writing you to update you on his current home address and telephone numbers.  I hope this helps you reach a solution to the problem he has caused you.  Feel free to email me back if you have any questions for me.

Sincerely, Crystal L.

His contact info is:

Jason Carter Ormbrek
6616 NE 110th Ave.
Vancouver, WA 98662
(971) 506-8952 or his wife, Harmony Schmitt's, cell phone (503) 290-8165

I hope I can prevent any one else from getting scammed like me..

Now all you need is to find someone in Vancouver that will pay him a little visit and "persuade" him a bit...

Continue to push the issue.  Don't settle until he's arrested.  If any part of the transaction went across (or was promised across) the USPS, it can easily constitute felony mail fraud.

There are MANY laws out which he's broken and can be locked up for.  Help him out with this.....

Yea, the FBI has him on the sheets for Mail Fraud and Wire Transfer Fraud. They have all of the info, They just need to get him now. But the issue is that the $$ amount is so small $250. they can't do anything about it.  :'(

He supposedly has some kind of a business there in Vancouver. but I don't know what it is...

Why does everyone run and call the FBI?  Your calling the wrong people.  Contact these people, they're the ones that will handle it anyways.  FBI ain't gonna do nothing but hand it off to another gov. division anyways.  Go right to the source.  Amount of money doesn't mean jack if he used a "wire" system.

That was taught back in highschool.  Money = Dept. of Treasury.  Secret Service is the "police" of the U.S. Treasury Dep.

PAY ATTENTION NEXT TIME !  Geez, and I got a C- in government class

Street justice that is.... I would pay him a visit. Take the $250 you lost, buy a plane ticket to Vancouver.. and break his hands. Literally! Every bone. Stomp, stomp, stomp! This guy will continue to rip off people untill someone puts the screws to him. If he is bragging about how he has continousley scammed people, then he enjoys it and will not stop. Screw legal justice... that will give you no satifaction. But a good ole fashion (severe) azz whooping makes everyone feel much much better. Thast just my $.02 though.

All I can see is that you tried to defraud e-bay first, then you got it back your self. what goes around comes around. when you went through e-bay you got your stuff. when you tried to stick them, you got stuck! :-/
