So, has anyone heard anything?  I went by the track yesterday and they said they think it's still on, but said the safety cert is "in progress".  I emailed Tiffiney today and got no response.

Anyone have better luck?  Bueller, Bueller? ;D

Kevin is doing the track inspection and should have answer by Monday-Tuesday. But he is traveling and when the word is posted I don't know.

Thanks for the update Eric... much appreciated!  BTW, I went by the track again today and it is the track's opinion that we will not run Shenandoah until next year.  They also stated that the main course will be available to us for that weekend :D

So why did the mailer say the 10th????? this is too late to put this off!!!! its only 30days away. thats crazy to not know if you have a race or not!. I live 25 minutes away from summit. I'll tell you now there is no point walking the track, ITS NOT READY. unless you like the feel of concrete walls? they surround the entire track! Oh and did I mention zero run off. they need to call it so we know for sure.

I called today STILL no word. Sorry but this is bull SH*t. less than 30 day to plan for a race, thats just stupid! but I guess I should be used to it buy now with CCS. >:(

Seriously, this is CRAZY!  I understand that it is difficult to get an answer but this race weekend is not that far off.

I have also seen the track and I will do a track day to see if those walls have been moved (I doubt it).  If I don't feel it is safe, BOYCOTT!!  I will refused to race that track EVER!  Not only that, but I will do everything i can possible to get the lest amount of racers to race it.  

How many deaths would it take for them to re-think that this track is "safe" for motorcycles.  They do understand that motorcycles don't have crash cages, or am I giving them too much credit?  I am just so FURIOUS on how they can honestly say this track is safe.  I hope those walls don't stay there!
