the walls that are present at the track weren't on the layout map that was shown. And I think based on the map, the track is ridable. Someone between the time people saw the map and put down deposit for the dates, the walls went up. I wouldn't go race there if I was paid to.

Did anyone called the office again this week? its much much easier getting in touch by calling.

Cool, kevin deemed it is unsafe to race at that deathtrap. "making safety improvements" I would love to see what that would be?  ::) move the concrete back a little?

Just on a side note here, but with 3 summit events canned this year how  will this effect amature bumpups? Not that i am even close to it but I wonder what this will do

So nice we have to wait 5 days to hear it from another site. ::)  Why not cancel whoever has the main track and give it to us since we've been bent over backwards without lube by CCS and Summit.

Oh well....at least the WERA race is still a go.

My big question is:  Why did CCS get screwed and there was no problem with the WERA races at Summit?? ???  All of our races get moved to a track that's not even finished but WERA gets to keep their dates on the main track.  Can someone pleeeeease esplain dis to me???

actually, njracer makes a good point.  Maybe Wera never signed up for the death trap.... maybe they knew better.

Unless some SERIOUS design changes are made, I am not sure this track will ever be safe for bikes.  There are some turns that if a bike were to run off, you would either die hitting the wall, or if they remove that, you would run into on-coming racing traffic!!!  Maybe they should hire some one that can design a good track with an IQ over 80.

or lets leave car tracks alone and try to race on bike tracks... the course is fine and fun for cars.

Fine...I can fix this....send the fuggin cars to the other track and give us the main. ;D  See..VERY easy.  If the car guys don't like it, tell them to go pound sand!
