what will happen if the shenandoah circut is not ready intime for july 17t-18th?will the event get canceld or will it get moved to the main course?

yaeah iknow i know it wont be ready so i want to know if they are going to cancel it or move it to the main course dident they move the event last year to the main course when they scheduled the shenndoah?

didnt CCS do a combined points event at VIR to take place of the event scheduled @ Shenandoah last year?

its already scheduled on the 2004 shcedule vir is a double points but june 25-27

hmm wonder if they "planned" it as a double point event knowing that Shenandoah wouldn't be ready?  ::)

the June VIR is FUSA so a double points. They probably will make the next VIR (after that) double points as well.

There was no announcement this weekend in regards to this...Summit Point says it will be ready...just give it a little more time and wait for CCS to make an offical announcement.........

I walked around the circuit this weekend and took some pictures.  I'm working on uploading them to my server.

I really doubt it will be ready. And if it is done there I imagine there may be some safety issues with the insurance company regarding motorcycle racing events, as with the Jefferson Circuit.

The turn at the end of the straight would be at least as fast as T10 on Summit main.  The "runoff" is less than the width of the track and then there is a concrete wall.  Behind that is a ~20ft sloped drop off. :o

well it is obvious the new track wont happen but they wont reschedule it and move it to the main course?
