What's a holiday without your favorite friends?

Team Stumpy loves a party...how 'bout it kids...post your costumes here!

I'll bring the mic ultra  ;D
Stump and Benji are in charge of music.
K3 makes an excellent host.
SuperDave can help with costume set up--we don't want you guys wearing the wrong stuff!
Dawn--The bouncer of course!

If you can't think of a costume for yourself, think of one for someone else!  Heh heh...

Come on Formula 40 guys--you're not too old for this--Oldguy can hang with Team Stumpy any day--and he's freakin' Oldguy!

Favorite friends?  Glad I made the cut!!

Devil in a blue dress?   GRRRRRROOOOOWWWW!!

I DO get pretty crazy on Halloween.  Our house was in the paper again this weekend.  There were about 5 pictures of our home-made decorations.  Our styrafoam tombstones and handmade scarecrows look more Hollywood than Walmart,
The new prop for this year is a plywood crate big enough to hold a refrigerator.  I used the top, bottom and three sides.  I cut windows into the three sides, and barred the windows with conduit.  The door is made from PVC tube, and features a padlock with a hasp that is Velcro'ed to the wall.  Computer generated warning and shipping labels and a pint of bloody handprints and arterial spray finish the job.
My wife is going to be wearing this awesome borrowed gorilla suit, and when the kids taunt her too much, she'll bust open the door and chase them!  I will be the retarded animal keeper.  Overalls, Billy Bob teeth, a hump for my back, a wig and some makeup should do nicely for me, and of course I have my trusty chainsaw for crowd control.
We've been doing this for as long as we've been in this spooky old Victorian house of ours, about 7 or 8 years.  The show gets a little more elaborate every year.  Mom, Mom in Law and a crew of friends all come over to participate.  It's gotten so bad that carloads of people actually pull up, trick or treat our house, then get back in the car and leave.
Our notariety has not gone unrewarded.  Without even knowing we were entered, we have won several local contests for our display, and have been featured in the paper several times.  It appears that Laura and I may be organizing a professional haunted house for the city next year, and I'm not talking about a plywood maze with costumed highschoolers in it either.  Think real special effects that will scare the crap out of many people.  We've been doing research for years, and now may have the budget to pull off our dream!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Coustumes for racers?

Kim as Belinda, the good witch from Wizzard of Oz.

Paul Buxton as the Devil, just paint him red!

Dave Rosno as a french maid...

Dawn Buxton as Xena, Warrior Princess. ;D

Dave Vaughn in an old-time striped prison suit with a ball and chain.  (Very inside joke.)

Joe Riffice as a Valley Girl.

Casper in a bloody orange jumpsuit, or as a hillbilly from Deliverance...

Jeff Purk as the Mad Doctor.

The Steins and Styles familys combine to be the Adams Family.  Can you see Megan as Wednsday and Doc's boy as Pugsly? :D

Rhiannon?  Nope.  I'm not going there on a public forum... ;)

Kevin Gordon as Preditor...

Last but not least, I'll be Preston Tucker.  I'll try real hard, the big guys will beat me down and crush my dreams, but in the end I become an American icon!  8)
