So on the way home from PBIR yesterday, a small fire started in the trailer. The bike was a little too far to the right side of it and the type of trailer it is (a ford truck bed made into a trailer) the tire was rubbing on the wheel well just a little bit and there was a newspaper stuffed right where the heat was coming through and started a quick fire. It took out my canopy and a couple of chairs but luckily i got out in time and put it out. The bike wasnt burned though. BTW I left toward Fort Myers a different way than any racers but no other cars stopped or barely slowed down. It was clearly visible that there was a fire but there were over fifteen cars that just sped right by as soon as we got to the side of the road, watching us take jugs of gatorade and water trying to put a flame out. So..... to hell with them.  :ahhh: It was an interesting ride home.

PBIR was fun. I hope the guys that had to be airlifted are doing okay (i'm new and don't remember the names), along with everyone else who fell this weekend.

Good times and hope to see you next time

There's a reason I keep a fire extinguisher in my truck.   I never thought about my trailer catching fire.

it is amazing to see how little some think of others these days.. It is like we walk around with blinders on with no regard for humanity! Ok, maybe it isn't that bad and once and awhile i see awesome stuff that restores my faith. Just not enough..

No- it really is that bad. People simply do not give a shit about each other. This could get political quickly, so I will avoid going any further.

me and my daughter put a truck fire out on 27  below south bay comming back from the last homestead. the poor guy had a small bottle but i keep a big one in the truck. he thanked me in his best english. you know i felt really good about it . maybe if people would just pull over and do it they would understand its a good feeling like being human. i do alot of driving and unfortunetly or fortunetly depending how you look at it get to help a lot of people. i see why people are fire and policemen.

sweet! I knew there are good people out there. This is one reason i love the racing community. 95% of us are "good peeps"..!

...and a worn out old Chinaman.

I hold back from going pee before leaving with the thought that a fire may happen. That way I can just whip it out and put out the flames.

Devin-Good seeing you at the track and hope to see you again soon.

ya i dont really expect or rely on people to stop but its like they couldnt wait for us to get out of the way fast enough to pass without even moving over... but its really no big deal. im just saying this just because i felt like it was something a little interesting to say haha
