Anyone see their contingency show up on the XTRM website?  Round 2 is just around the corner, and I am hoping that the contingency shows up in time to be able to suppliment the tire budget for next weekends races.  I've never qualified for contingency before, so maybe I did something wrong?  I had Michelin listed on my sponsor sheet, got checked off at tech-in, had he minimum entries to qualify, placed high enough to qualify, and I put my placements up on the XTRM website, where it said that they were being sent to Ron Wood.  I see on Ron's news that they are paying out Michelin contingencies from a bunch of other CCS and ASRA rounds, but I haven't seen anything for HPT Round 1. Any ideas?

I checked Bibmen.com and it says that

1. Competitors must register and purchase tires from Authorized Team Michelin race tire distributor or associate.   Check
2.Competitors must list Michelin as a sponsor  Check
3. Display minimum 12" Michelin decal on both fairings,Mr Bib decal on both sides front fender  Check
4.Michelin patch on leathers  Didn't have the patches available before that race, but was cleared by CCS.. Check
5. Must run Michelin on front and rear to be eligible for Team Michelin Dollars.  Check, Check
7.Each class must start a minimum of 10 riders for contingency dollars to be paid 1st- 5th, 6 riders to pay 1st -3rd.   And Check
(MINIMUM 6 riders to earn contingency).
6. Register online with XTRM to receive the automated payment on the www.xtrm.com/michelin 24/7 access to your account    Check

I registered on XTRM and put down Michelin as a sponsor, but it still shows them as an 'unofficial' sponsor.  I turned in my finishes on XTRM, and it said that they were sent to Ron Wood, but haven't seen anything from it so far, and it's been a few weeks now.

With regard to HPT the results had issues and when those were sorted I was able to then process contingency, which was done last Thursday. Due to this slower than normal results processing and a death in my family this week, contingency processing of NHMS, Road America, PBIR and FIR was delayed but all races to date should be processed by Tuesday. We should be back on track next week to results and contingency processing the Wed following the event.

In general the first awards from a company take longer (4-6 weeks), some the first ever, some the first for the calender year, then they speed up to 2-4 weeks after an event once you are in their system. If you have not received contingency money in a timely fashion then I can research it to verify all steps were met and nothing fell thru the cracks either by our office or paperwork that was not completed.

Just making sure but you don't have to do anything after the races do you? I thought that the results would go to XTRM automatically.

Sounds like you did everthing right except waiting until your hair is grey to get your pay out :)

All kidding aside, some pay faster than others and some have adopted new systems/services to speed processing.  One thing seems to be constant - it never comes fast enough :)

Except with Michelin. Ive had money in my account before getting home from race weekends before. The new system flat rocks.

I was kidding, see the smiley faces and reference to "All kidding aside"?

I said "some pay faster than others and some have adopted new systems/services to speed processing."

Were you responding directly to me/my post?  Or just quoting me to give others reading the thread useful information?

This is my first time collecting contingency also. I should have some coming from RA and haven't seen any yet. I'm in the same situation as you, checking the XTRM account and balance still says zero deniro. A good friend of mine who collects regularly says it is a very sllloooowwwww process. It would be nice to have the cash for tires at Blackhawk. Maybe it takes longer because it's a new account? I left a message for Tom Mason just to get some questions answered and he hasn't gotten back to me. I'm not sure he has anything to do with the process but thought he might have more info on it. I guess just wait it out but it makes you feel as if you are missing something or didn't register properly.
Thanks to Precision Drive & Control and Monroe Powersports!

Thanks Brian

The vendors in general cannot answer contingency questions regarding reporting.
I process all the info and forward to the respective companies so unless they sent you an awrd they cannot tell you why you would not have been on an awards report.

IE if you have a question about payouts, or status or anything regarding contingency I would be your first contact.
