Your location?

Super Dave; I am the guy that was looking for you at gateway and you looked at my bike.
Its the '90 FZR400/600 Hybrid. I'm here in st. louis, Same guy on other threads and forums.

I found this swingarm for cheap and wanted to know if it's repairable.

FZR400...

Man..  could use this Sugo Japanese only bodywork I have for that bike, or maybe a aluminum subframe.

As for the swinger, I'm assuming you have a 90' delta box unit..??   :thumb:

Headdog,

Hook me up with that stuff. My son runs my '90 FZR400 in the ULW SB with stock motor.

Sounds like we need to talk..!!  I've got CFM style rearsets, footpegs, Sugo, aluminum subframe, 17 inch rear conversion, fox shock, yzf goodies, 560cc stuff....

I've got more notes in my head than parts though.  Hit me up..!!

Extreme Cycle in Topeka does a great job and is very reasonable.

Give Brian a call- 785.234.5007.

I can send you some pix for reference.....D2 Cycles and a 750 with a SHATTERED frame...he fixed it for under $600 and they raced an entire season of endurance on it. Even survived being thrown down Texas World at triple digits.

That being said, I'd assume that FZR parts are cheap enough that you'd be able to replace it for less than the cost of a repair....am I wrong?

I'm kind of with that one...

Noidly1...that's my advice.

Some people that straighten frames will want to straighten the swingarm with the rest of the chassis as some bits are just developed and manufactured out of straight even OEM.

I use http://www.4and6.com, but I don't believe that they do just one piece.  You would have to contact them on that.

I have a couple of reinforced swingarms. The right one looks to be a profesional build-up, the left one looks to be a factory piece. Can anyone ID the left one? The right one is the one I suspect to be tweeked. Which one should I use on my FZR400?
