Bro,

I've only seen one other swinger like that, and it was on an older guys FZR400.  I can't recall his name, but it was an "Attack" swinger from back in the day.  When FZR's and Hawk's ruled the LW class.  Of course I wasn't around then, but relish in the thought of large grids with FZRs and Hawks, with the occasional Bandit 400 or CB-1.

I don't know if that helps, you might want to hit some folks up at Speedwerks, Bee Johnson, Jason Clay........  They've seen more 400's than anyone I know...

I hope that helps..!!

Thanks Kids;;
I got ahold of 4and6, but they want me to send whole bike and can cost $450+.
Couldn't get ahold of Mad Dog yet.
Brian at Extreem was more willing to help and said to send just the swingarm and said that it may only cost under $100.

What tipped me off to the right one to being tweeked was a couple of gouges on the right upper bar and it is pushed down about 3/16ths. or so.
As I loook down the centerline of it from the lower dogbone mount back to the axle, it looks to be off about 1/2 degree.
Do you think I will notice it while riding?

Really depends on the rest of the bike.

Straight swingarms work with the rest of the bike.  So, the wheels need to be in line which works with the axles, forks, steering stem, and frame.

And even then, the whole geometry needs to work together.  It's a really hard thing to give you an answer on.

I raced a bike where the frame was straightened for me by a local place in Iowa.  The front wheel and the rear wheel were in line.  But after a year and a half of racing it, we had it pitted next to another similar bike.  My front axle sat out visually further than the stock bike that wasn't a salvage bike like mine.  No, I "didn't notice a difference", but there were certain handling issues with that bike that were strange.

You've got to decide what's in your budget really.

From what I can tell, it seems OK. OK that is with a shot suspension...
I'd use the left one if I knew how to mount the Brake caliper. The left Swingarm has a brake tab and offset brace I suppose to clear the caliper. So I guess The next question is, what caliper bracket is used with this swingarm??? ANYBODY know???

Headdog;

Do you have a list of things your willing to part with?

Just remembered your question, Yes, the original and current IS a Delta-box.

I don't want to butcher it up trying to reinforce it, Figure "keep-it-stock" for resale value, if ever... or get another one to beef-up. Could be trick though...

Now I have seen it and I am drooling. Don't know if I would notice the difference though.

Which difference, Having a beefier swingarm or a tweeked one?
No offence...

if your just want the swingarm straightened any good custom bike builder should be able to straighten it my friend builds pro stock drag bikes and he straightened mine. if it's a home built strengthening it may have been bent all along .anytime heat is applied to a frame or swingarm they can distort. a simple fixture and some heat may bring it right back

Either. Made the change from the FZR600 arm to the FZR400 arm which incidentally is 1" shorter and couldn't tell the difference. Then went to a Delta box swingarm and seemed the same. Also raced on tweaked triples (notified by GMD) and I was winning races for the first half of my Championship season before having them straightened.

I have gone faster since then. Is it me, or is it the bike??
