Gateway is not a track that I care to race. I was there cuz I had to drive the rig down so Chris could race and stay in the points lead for Light Weight GP. I ended up running GTU and finished 6th. I had a lot of fun running that race too. Chirs on the other hand had a great race. Like always the bike bogged on the start. They left LWGP a one wave start, which I think was stupid. So Chirs was dead last going into turn one behind all the amatuers too. He was running 3 seconds faster then everyone else in the class. So from dead last he managed to pass all the amatuers and finish 2nd right on Paul James butt.

Becca broke her forearm in two places, while she was in second.  The East-St Louis-Hospital hooked her up special, with a 1970's era plaster cast   :err:

I crashed out of GTO passing Nudleman for the lead (on the outside of 7) with 1 lap to go.  My pretty yellow bike is now just pretty ugly.
Big Props to Mark Nudleman, he supplied me with his spare handlebars, trying to help me get my bike back out there :thumb:

In UNSB, Super Dave jumped off his bike on the grid at the 4 board, and danced an Irish Jig  :lmao: :wtf: :lmao: .... I swear  :ahhh:

i had a ball. gateway wasn't nearly as rough as i thought it would be. the right hand turns played a number on the ankle. by sunday it had swelled so much i thought i was going to bust the zipper on the boot. but the track was pretty cool.
4 people passed me in the first race after the rain started falling and each of them fell in the next turn. so i backed way off and finished 12th but on 2 wheels. got the rain tires on and ended up with a 6th and a 4th in the next to ss races.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOOOHOOO! What a freaken ride"

Actually she had just passed Paul James to take the lead when she crashed.

Was it because she was so surprised that she went into shock??? :kissy:

Paul had just pulled off at turn 5 after a debris flag wave off.  I think that was the first time I ever saw a Buell not finish a race for mechanical reasons!!

defintaley an interesting weekend...  I posted a video of the MWSS race in the rain..  Jenkins was flying until he high-sided.  I wish I could've been a little closer, the camera didn't pick up how cool of a crash it was (Hey if your gonna crash, it should be on video!!)... If the F#@kin walls weren't so close, he would've saved it...

I tried to get the hooters girl on camera, but she was scared... sorry for the cheesy intro... When I'm old and poor I want to be able to see why!!

See everyone at RA..
