Yeah, I've used the H2 rear racing quite a bit.  But it's the "old" design tire now.

The H2 front is not a tire to be used on the race track.

In the Midwest region, Tom Mason is the Michelin guy.  http://www.masonracintires.com

He will be at Daytona working until about March 12th.

The H2 front is a "highway tire".  Not really appropriate for a brisk track day.

The H2 rear is a medium/soft product that was between the standard S2 and M2 rear.

I don't think there is one anymore because the distribution channels really messed with the guys trying to build the product.

They have scrapped their AMA support.

Longevity hasn't been very good.  The Pirelli might have better longevity.  The Dunlop and the Michelin, what I use, are going to have even better longevity.

Might have to set the bike up for the Michelins then...  Isn't the front Pilot Race taller than the front BT-002?

How is the front Pilot Race?  I've heard the BT-002 has a better front and Pilot Race has a better rear.

What's your point?  Just a dig?

Never admitted I have all the answers.

Seldom ever gave answers, but experiences.  Those are different.

Pilot Race was a very bizzare tire in most of 2005.  By the middle of 2005, we started to see the new version, which will be called the PR-C.

Which BT is which?  I don't really know anymore.  The last batch that I was around, the Bridgestone race tire and the Michelin Race tires were similar in their heights, 2004.  The Pilot Power Sport was shorter in the front and taller in the back compared to those tires.

The Pilot Race is now even shorter in the front and taller in the back...more like the Dunlop and Pirelli.

That give you some ideas, Aaron.

I don't mean to steal a thread, but figured I'd just ask here instead of starting a new thread.  What do you guys recommend for an SV that would be a good setup.  New to racing so I wouldn't be pushing them to hard, but want to make sure they'll stick well none the less.  Any suggestions?
