Here I am, just trying to help out.  Laura finally gets that daughter she always wanted, Mom gets a granddaughter, you Buxtons finally get rid of the most annoying, expensive, and burdensome thing in your life, and I get a whip-smart girl to help me get this novel off the ground.  A good deal for everyone, yes?

Fur cryin' out loud, Don!  I don't want a pet, I want a daughter!
Renee's already half-raised, and she seems pretty sweet.  You just never know what you'll get if you make a new one.  Buxtons have already spent half the money necessary to build a good daughter.  I couldn't build one as nice for the same money.  If they're willing to sell cheap, I'm thinking it's a pretty good deal!
