I thought it would be a good idea to clean out some cubbards in the hutch that have just been accumulating.... 'stuff'  Heck, I had paperwork in there from 1998.  Sheesh!

The garbage men are just going to LOVE me on Monday.

Could anyone use a Quicken program?

Now mind you, in order to load it on your machine, a 5-1/4 drive is required.   ;D

Remember to shred shred shred. Also, check all unopened junk mail. Last summer I found $5 cash from Neilsen surveys. (dated 2000)  ;D

Do or do not, there is no "try".

LOL!!!!

Instead of shredding we have the woodstove (I guess we'll have to burn less wood next heating season).   :D

The non-personal stuff heads out for recycling.

I'm worried about our boys at Autobahn.  I'll be heading out there after work.  There isn't a sliver of shade in the pits of that place.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Bring the water tank truck and an inflatable pool. Charge admission and pay for your racing.  ;D

*shudder*

Sounds like MAM.  I remember  baking in the sun back in 2003 out there... ugh.  I guess this might be one of those times when I'm kinda glad to be home in the A/C instead of at the race track.....

Naaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.  I'd still rather be out there.

That was brutal.

Funny, I just remarked about that same event in another thread.  I guess I wasn't the only one that felt that way.

My car's thermometer read 98 degrees.  Fortunately there was a good breeze that helped.  I was under the canopy all day and I'm still fried!

A hot day at the track is still better than a cold day in the bedroom (or something like that :-/ )

Not only was it desert-like, an LP rider rode his pretty R6 to the track for a track day, only to crash and watch as his bike burned to the (insert whatever bikes burn to here).   It so totally burned I don't know if anything was salvageable.  Last I saw, Ike was taking the guy back home to Chicago.  Considering Friday evening traffic he deserves a medal for that.

I think I'll go sit in a tub.  Maybe a few bubbles and fragrance to make me feel all fluffy...

Pay no attention to me, I'm suffering from heat exhaustion.  ;D

Let's see, what do we have here....
Stress Relief Mineral bath salts
with Eucalyptus and Spearmint essential oils...
Bah,
I'll chew some gum while I take a quick shower.  That'll be a lot less work.

That twern't no R6.  It was an R1, and the poor guy was a student of mine about a month ago at STT.  Good rider, too.  His crash was during Learning Curves.  (Fall and you fail.)  Now he's experienced his first highside, and has also learned that you should use hose clamps on your fuel lines, especially if you're running flatslides.... :o
I really felt bad for the guy.  He was just crushed.  I hope we see him back. :-/

Crash-fest today.  Good thing I couldn't afford to race, because I was needed elsewhere.  I spent all day fixing people's smashed bikes.  I even got to repair Big O after somebody packed Ed Key on a red flag.  How many people can say they've worked on Ed's bike unchaperoned while he went and sat in the AC?  I know all the classified secrets now, but if I told you, I'd have to kill you!  ;D

(Who'd have thought that there was such a thing as pulse wave plasma glue?  And who'd have expected that it would be so effective at bonding unobtainum to megalightum?  I must admit though, that those "Property of CIA-AREA 51 / unauthorised posession punishable by evisceration" warning stencils on Ed's spares boxes had me a bit spooked....)
