Can I run summit with no CAN?

I am running way short on cash trying to get this bike done in time for summit. I'm still pissed about the whole dam bike deal...

I had a lil let to get a ne stock header off ebay for cheep. if I buy a can I will not have tier and race entry fee money

so can I run SS and SB with no pipe... just loud as hell with headers. if not I am out for the weekend :-[

Mel they got that wacky decibel limit.  It's something like 104 measured from some spot near scoring as bikes cross start/finish.  I don't belive they actively measure everybody, but will measure and boot you if your bike is that much louder than the others.  Without a can, your bike will stick out like the proverbial turd in a punch bowl.

Dude there are people out there that will give you a stock can for free to help you out, just post in the classifieds.

There is one big thing that I've learned.   Some people are all about the money and wil screw you over others just so they can get money!  To say there is nothing you can do is a bull crap copout.. You choose to do nothing!    I'm done

If he did have a can on, there wasn't any packing in it. That thing was loud as Hell.

Wait went without a can at a couple of rounds in 2003 and was told to put a can on. The rule was made for the 2004 season.

hey man i have an older stock can ... i think off a 2002 gsxr 600 if you can use it you can have it. i'll bring it friday if you want or if you're close come get it earlier. i'm 15 min from summit.

I'm set, I got  phone call from a local bike shop with great news... Then last night an old firend said I can get his D&D can for 20.  

Are u running the 1000 or us your wife letting u take the 600 out?

if the weather is ok i'll be on the 1000 she's afraid that i'll have too much fun on her 600 ringing the guts out of it trying to move my fat azz. I'm not a real big fan of summit anyway so if the weather sucks i'll be a specataor and pit beiotch for a few buddies that will be racing reguardless.
