Daytona Digital water temp gauge help, please...

Anyone install one of these on a Ducati?  I have a 1997 Ducati 916 and noticed that the Daytona gauge ad states "fits most water-cooled Japanese sport bikes"...so I don't know about the Duc thing!

find where your stock  eng tem is and swap it out,you might have to add a bushing.(home depot,ace hardware) prety much unversal.

Thanks....I was hoping for a "universal" application, however I couldn't figure out why they would specifically state "most Japanese" bikes, if it was an essentially "universal-type" fitting.

I bought one and it technically didn't fit the Duc.  I was, however, able to "make it fit" with some patience and creation of new threads!
