Any one figured out how to GP pattern the 05 kawi 636 yet with the stock rearset and shifter.  Pics would help a lot!!

thanks!

Got it!

Shift peddal and part off a cbr1000xx.  Should cost about 40 bucks

removed the sprocket cover, then the woodcraft rearsets worked gpstyle just fine, did not try it with stock rearsets

Remove the linkage, Line up the linkage in GP style, with a marker outline the full swing of the joint on the case makeing sure to give enough clearence for wiggle room, Repeat this at all spline locations so you have max adjustability. This should give you a good radius. Then measure the depth needed to relocate the joint in GP style, mark that out on the botton of the case. Remove the case and take it to your local machine/speed shop (car or bike) and tell them to remove all the metal inside your marks. Keeping in mind it is just a clearance thing. When you get it back mount the case and the linkage and your set. Shouldnt cost more than $10 or so. If you need a photo I could get you one just shoot me an email address.

Did you get this right?  I managed to change my shift with 2*8mm washers and 15 minutes of my time.  Will send a link if need be....
