And of course the 2000 Snowbowl at the Blackhawk opener.  We actually salted the track and drove our tow vehicles around until it was melted enough to race.  I got my first wood that day!  (5th of 6 stupid enough to have shown up, but who cares?  Wood is wood!)

We dumped over 2 tons of salt on the track that day. Jan and I had to make 2 trips to Cub foods in Beloit to get all the salt. Must be fun to have someone pull your frozen carcass from the bike at the end of the race. Even more fun to have your hands stuck in a permanent handlebar grip, crash and you just can't let go. ;D
