Paul's putting a new front end on the SV and doesn't want to mess up (excuse me if I'm not using all the proper terms here) the geometry of the bike.  This means that he needed to get adjustable triple clamps.  Well, no one makes X' size triple clamps with an SV stem.  We know that we could get special bearings to make it fit, but Paul thought, "Well, why can't they make this?"

So, Paul called Attack Performance and said, "I would like these triple clamps with the SV stem, can you do this?"  The answer.....   YES!  

I'm getting excited, I can't wait to see the bike all together when done.

Yup, Attack does make them. you can even get them trough Lockhart. There is a set on EBay right now for the GSXR 600 forks. Check out:

Lockhart only sold the 600 conversion with the SV stem and Paul's putting the inverted 750 forks on the bike.  Those triples only came with the GSXR stem through Lockhart.

Now it's time to get the forks rebuilt and reassemble the bike.  Dang, is it spring yet?   (as I'm looking outside and seeing nothing but snow   :(  )

Triples are so exciting.  I believe we have a bent one in the garage somewhere that Stumpy is going to bend back if his ADD ever goes back in that direction.

Yeah, we asked, but they said "I don't think so." So we went straight to the source.  The price wasn't much different either.
