Hey guys that have big motor SVs 80-90hp what gearing are you guys running? Just as a starting point stock is 15/45 which is what I was running pretty much everywhere with a SS motor. Now I got a SBK motor and Im thinking I can go down on the rear to a 44 for sure or 43 on faster tracks?  :-/

It all depends on the track. What tracks are you planning on running?

I have an SV superbike and last year at VIR i ran a 15/43 & i took a 1,2,3, finish in my classes the bike had a lot of power out of the corners with that ratio. I think for daytona i may try a 15/44 if that doesn't work i'll have to go back to the drawling board. For VIR i would try the 15/43...i worked for me. ;D

Tracks between 1.5 mile and 2.3 miles in length, I have found 15/48 to work very well. Great drive out of the corners, but still enough on the top end down the straights. Tracks 2.5 miles and above, I would recommend 15/45 or 15/44. ;)
