ok i got an 04 gixxer 1000, i have put a full titanium race duplex exhaust. i put the bike on the dino before the system and i got 150hp. after the system i dynoed it again and only gained one horse power. any one now of any fuel maps i should use, or should i try something else? ???
thanks

Same dyno, same temp, etc?  If so, did you not mess with the FI at all?  PC III, or crack the black box code?  If you just bolted up a pipe and didn't change the fuel map, that is most definitely the problem.  I really only work on Hondas, but as I understand it Suzuki ECU codes are openly available, but perhaps a suzook guy would know better.  Either way, you need to tune it to take advantage of the new flow.

Not sure where you're located - I see MA on your profile.  You can contact Fast by Ferracci - Willow Grove PA 19090.  They should have some really good maps in their system for you.  If you can get your bike there, "Elraldo" himself can make you a custom map!

Yeah, that don't sound right. I Had an '01 with nothing but Art bolt-on can and PC III putting out 147. Have you checked the PCommander site for a pipe match yet? What pipe are you running and do you have a Power Commander? Try a BMC air filter as well- it's the Italian version of K&N.

Check the correction factor for each pull, If they differ its due to temp pressure etc which will change the hp. Does the dyno have A/F sniffer?
Do you want to touch my Monkey?

Nieve person here......

... but could it possibly be that the stock exhaust flowed similar to the one you put on?  Just curious because I read your problem to Paul, purposely omitting the bike and his response was:  "It must be a GSXR 1000."  < that blew me away >

I didn't question him much farther because he was helping Renee at the time with homework.

Just a thought

So many factors can influence a dyno result.  Operator, Differnet Dyno, temp, slippage due to different tie down method, fans pointed just so, gas type and time of year gas was purchased (additives added to winter gas can effect performance), even the type of tire used can change the results a tad, so it's really hard to tell.  Mapping to your exaust would be a good start though....

Sorry, new stuff is pretty good.

Ran a slip-on during the 2003 season...  Was still enough to win some races and to put me inside the top ten at a FUSA race...

And I had stock fuel mapping (No PC, etc)

What were you expecting?  And how would you get it to the ground.

ok i remapped the bike and put shorter stacks in the airbox and i got 155hp at the rear wheel. i was hoping to get about this much from it, the 1000 is my street bike. i may do a track day with it this year but for know it will stay on the street. i also have ordered a yosh EMS to try to get a little more from it. thanks everyone for your help, and remember to keep the sticky side down. ;)
