Pirelli Tires in the SW

I just went to California Race Services Page (former Pirelli distributor) and noticed for 2005 they are going to be carrying Bridgestones exclusively.  Is anyone going to be trackside offerring Pirelli support?  I received an email about $265 DOTs for this spring but none of the vendors listed are near the west coast.

Yes, Chris, the guy that used to do Michelins when Dale wasn't around is doing Pirelli's this year.

Hi Alan:

I just picked up a set of Pirelli's from Tom and Alexa on the weekend. I spoke with them regarding the support for CCS SW and the answer I received was somewhat positive. They just signed (renewed) with Pirelli for the Southwest Region. That will include California, Nevada and Arizona.
For information specifically about Firebird, you'll have to contact Tom or Alexa @ (661)248-6869.
I am sure that if they make it out to our races, we can expect the same professional service as always. :D

Sounds good.  I received email from Pirelli today saying they were offering the discounted DOTs and CRS wasn't on the list of race distributors.  I just wanted to make sure I was going to be in good shape for the Firebird East event since I will need to buy tires there.
