Momo Helmets

Does anyone know where you can get Momo helmets in the U.S.  ???   They're helmets look sweet, but I can't find an importer.

Anyone going to Italy anytime soon  ???

Momo has strict shipping policies regarding their products.  US and European distributors are only allowed to ship within their respective countries.  Momo helmets aren't distributed in the States.

Backdoor it by calling a shop in the UK and have them UPS it to you, or have a friend pick one up and mail it.  Otherwise your SOL trying to go through a distributor.

Are they legal (for racing) with CCS/WERA since they aren't imported  ???  I'm sure they have SNELL, ect...

Not as far as I can tell...  They only have 2 helmets dsigned for moto use.  1 is 3/4 face, the other is bluetooth-project.  No Snell or BSE designation that I can see for racing.

The one I'm looking at is the "Devil" model. I can't find any specs on the Momo site though.

It's ECE22/05 ceritfied. The chin bar is removable, and not meant as a protective feature. From what I've heard, the quality is questionable and the fit is strange. I think those remarks are attributed to Rezin, the admin at www.cycleforums.com(www.tricktape.com). He said it seemed like more of a venture in styling than function.
