I am debating switching from michelins to pirellis for 2005. I ran the michelin pilot power race mid to end of last season and the pirelli super corsa in the beginning of the year. The michelins grip is great plus I felt like I had quicker turn in but I got caught when the rear let go when I was leaned over. I am running lightweight. Looking back at it, it could have been avoided by better throttle control and better body position ( I lost it driving hard through the apex) but I wasn't to far off from the norm. I recall the pirellis gave me some advanced warning before letting go. Anyone have the same experience? So not to start a tire war ping me off list so I can discuss a couple of things with you. chiltonr@synthes.com

Does anyone know if the michelin certs can be transferred?

nobody would transfer certs.. And for "letting go".. what tire wont with poor throttle control. Same will happen with other tires to. THey all have certain characteristics but no tire is "magic".. A new tire will not be a cure for rider/machine error.
