Hey guys quick question-
August 2003 I took the track school with edge... completed it, got the little cert hangin on the garage wall...

My question is if this is enough to send to CCS to get my race liscense ?  I guess I could go and take the class again here in the next month or two when classes start forming again, but I would like to get a jump on the process.

Thanks !
Dan

Hey its me Sean, I know you have been on the track and all but the cert is good for one year.  Then we required you to come back and go through the school again
after a year if you were going to go racing after the experation.

Bummer Dan...Nice thought though.  :-/

Hey Sean whats up!!  Long time no see.

Anyone know when LCR or any other schools start firing up for the season?  The earlier the better...

R1abuser

I dont mind going to take another course just so maybe I can learn a bit more... but I guess I dont see where time comes into it.  I took the school one time, why in the world would I need to come back a year later and do it again  ???

So are you racing this year sean ?  Maybe we will get to grid next to each other !  How cool would that be... then you can show me that "race pace" you were always talking about !  See ya bro !

Also track addix is running a new rider school this year as well. The first date is April at MAM. There are a ton of perks included with this school and more personal attention than most as well. Way too much to list. Suffice it to say that you haven't seen anything  like this before. Check out their program at //www.trackaddix.com

They will have full tire and suspension support. Dyno support. Top notch instructors. And a ton of personal help. Also, we'll have the new riders pit with us their first race weekend to help them along with whatever they may need.

Actually you can look under the "schools" tab on the Track Addix website. For 2005 we will be offering a new riders school, a new racers school, and a suspension tuning school. New racers will be certified for CRA, CCS, and MRA licenses. New racers that are certified through our school will be able to pit with us at their first race at our 40' race trailer and take advantage of all the services we have to offer including mechanic help, free tire service, suspension tuning help, and otherwise any other issue dealing with getting started racing that you may have. Also, at the track day you will be able to get a free horsepower run on the dyno and get basic setup info to help you get your bike tuned in. Riders will also get discount coupons good for use at //www.bikejam.com Dean is currently updating the race school page on his site today and it will have all of the detailed info by the end of the day. Rob-
Will you (or dean) have a dynojet 250 dyno on hand at the track ?  I need to do a custom map session anyway.  Will you have operators on had familiar with the tunelink software and the general knowledge of how to map the bike ?  You know I need to eeek every bit of HP out of that slow R1.

LMsports

Yes, we will have a mobile Dynojet 250 dyno on hand and will be able to do custom maps while you are there.
