Infact, I may have actually seen you at a CCS round at Gingerman.  I did go to one CCS round at Gingerman, but I didn't and couldn't race.   There was a Sportbike Tracktime track day the day after the CCS races.  We were at Grattan on Saturday and Sunday, and then came to Gingerman for the trackday on Monday.  We were at Gingerman for part of the day on Sunday and there were CCS races.  I would've raced, but I didn't have a race license and hadn't done a school yet.

Infact, I do remember that weekend quite well.  At the trackday, some guy on a BMW crashed, and the bike was spinning on the head in the middle of the race track in turn 2  ;D  I had to off road going into turn 1 because it was in my line and we went in 3 deep  ;D

What takes up a 3 hour conference call can usually be handeled in 45 minutes in person. Learned that already.  Plus, all expenses are a writeoff, so nobody really cares.

BWA HA HA HA!!!!!! You're gonna save 2 hours and fifteen minutes by driving to the airport, hopping on a plane from Orlando up to Detroit, driving to and from a meeting, flying home, then driving home!

To answer your question, no.  That's why I spend the entire weekend there.  Anything that requires my involvement gets handled when I get there.  Everything else can usually done by phone.  Alot of the time, it's easier to discuss and explain things in person.

BTW, if it's a business trip and you're in this big time company, then why's the cost of the trip on your dime.  Hey man, get them to foot it.  It's way better for you.  Then whatever expenses you submit to them for reimb. is back to you 100% rather than getting partial payment by deducting it at your tasx rate.

After you convince them to foot the bill, then you can lay my earlier idea on them and look golden.  You'll still be up in Chicago.  Just not weekly.
