QuoteFor example, Road America in April. its F#@$ing cold in Wisconsin in April. Anyone remember last year?.

Sorry, I have no good answer to that.

In 2002, it was raining and 37.  In the late 90's there was ice under the bridges when they had the race in May.

In like 1997, we had some summer dates there that were good.  Just not a place to be racing in April when it's still late winter.

But people seem willing to spend the money for the entries and cold shred tires.

Hot weather racing?

Well, that's a hard one.  It's not as hot at Road America, necessarily, than Barber in the summer, but it can be pretty close.

The cold, I can understand.  Nothing works.  Either you get cold rain, snow, or fog.  Those are the options.  Pick one.  Heat, well, I don't know.  I can deal with heat.  It's pretty much everywhere, isn't it?  Unless you want to play MotoGP on Playstation inside with the air conditioning on.
