N00B's first post with questions.

Hey guys, this is my first post, I hvae been lurking for a few weeks now...

Anyway-
I haven't gotten a rule book from CCS yet but...
I was just wondering if some of you senior riders could point me in the right direction of obtaining this knowledge.  I have particular questions about bike prep and to what extend I need to go with this thing.

IE.  What to safety wire, case covers, etc.

As your trusty sidekick I feel compelled to answere at least one of your questions...  

Safety wire- Oil Fill cap, Oil Drain plug, and Oil filter (use hose clamp for oil filter).

I'm going to let someone else answere the case cover question, I think some bikes are required to change them to billett or some sort of aftermarket cover and some aren't...not quite sure.

I will add that he is racing an R1 if that helps with answering his case cover question...

In section 5.2.22 of the CCS Rulebook it looks like it states that your left side engine cover an that R1 is to be replaced with a "reinforced sidecover".
