...out there.

I have been purchasing at least three photographs from Jack at www.sliderphoto.com each year.  The photos are put in a frame with the year listed in the bottom right corner.  (this is one of Paul's Chrismas presents each year)

Well, before I wrapped the 2004 version, I lined them all up in a row.  Even though Paul has been on the same bike for the past three years, it was really interesting to follow the progression of both Paul and the bike such as new body work, new hemet, new leathers, different paint job etc.

I would highly recommend doing something similar to everyone out there.  You will be glad you did.

Dawn   :)

P.S.  Jack, if you have the photos from 2001, could you let me know?  I don't have any of Paul on the FZR.  Thanks!

I've got three photos from Slider Jack, all in the same corner at Gateway. There's "Ohmygod! Walls!" followed by "Get 'er done!" followed by ""I could be faster if the damn engine were narrower!"
This year he caught me sliding and striping through four at Blackhawk.  Oooooooohhh!  I'm touching myself!
Merry Christmas Jack!  And don't forget to bring my two calanders to the banquet!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

That was right before he caught you rolling and tumbling through 5...  ;D

(and get your hand off that)  :P

Thanks Dawn. Thanks guys.

Dawn, I've got a couple of boxes of old 35mm stuff. If you have dates, description of the bike, I might be able to scare some up. It's not organized like it is now.

And now would be a good time to thank everyone that purchased from me this past year.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Thank you, Jack.

Your being at the track is something that I appreciate a whole lot.

I think we overlook the great opportunity we have in you being there to shard with us what you see through your lense.

That is a fact, Dave.  I've told Jack before that he's a very important part of why we all love racing so much.  Dawn really hit on something with the picture comparison thing.  I'd noticed it before, but sitting here in my office full of Sliderphotos, it is so cool to see how my technique has improved over the years.  The camera doesn't lie.
That's another thing.  All these photos and trophies?  They are my identity.  This is who I really am.  I only get to be this person for a few short weekends per year, but I treasure every minute.  It's unbelievable the way Jack can freeze 1/100th of a second in time, and the image then comes to represent everything that is good in the life of that person.  Powerful stuff.
Thanks again, Jack.
