I dont know any info on this (when or where).  A friend of mine forwarded it to me.

This is really bad & tragic - its a video of a corner worker getting hit by a bike.  does anyone know any info about this?

I hate posting things like this ...but i would like to know more info if anyone knows:

If that's the video I'm thinking of (I'm not going to watch it again, it's pretty severe), I do know where it happened but can't say.  I can tell you that miraculously everyone involved is walking around today.

Once again I'll post the photo of Rob, taken two weeks after the incident. Nothing to see here, move along.

OMG It is.  This crash is several yrs old now ........and it's still a vivid reminder of how dangerous or how dedicated a cornerworkers position can be.  Dangit!!!!!!!!   I hope no cornerworker or rider has to witness such atrosity ever like so again.

Yes, Rob was the cornerworker that got pasted. He and his wife Ann (behind him in picture) both race. She took the 2003 season off to have twins, then came back for 2004 while Rob watched the kids in the paddock.
