STOLEN:

* brand new Helimot leathers
* spine protector
* helmet
* gloves
* toolbox/tools

Someone broke in my teammate's enclosed trailer in the So Cal area (Mission Hills, CA to be exact) on Friday night 11/26... the night before we were headed to a Fastrack event at Fontana on November 27-28.

I know the chances of recovering my leathers are low, but I'm sure as hell going to try anyway!  I will gladly pay shipping and a reward (whatever I can afford after replacing all of my stolen tools) to be reunited with them.  Please keep an eye out.

The leathers are very distinct -- metallic blue stars running down the arms and leg, and one on the butt.  And the front of the legs are very flashy silver.

If they show up in the midwest, I'll send them back to you in the same bag with the thief who's wearing them. >:(
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

These are pretty distinctive. If you see a set looking even remotely like them, check for the punctures left in the lettering areas. You will see a clear outling of the name and sponsors.

Good luck.

I make it to a lot of events, racing and track days. I'll keep an eye out for them! Wouldn't hurt to send an e-mail to NewEnough.com, they purchase used leathers so maybe someone might try and pawn them there. Also, I'd add a saved search to e-bay and browse the ads when someone ads a new set of leathers on auction.

Trust Jack to come up with all that....  You're a handy guy to have around!

What a toad.  The moron thinks he can subtly slink away with those leathers?  I hope you get a chance to bust his nuts.  >:(

What good would the spine protector do for the thief?

He obviously has none!  >:(

Guess this gives another reason to custom design your own leathers.  Anybody wearing them might as well mount a flashing neon sign on his back that says "Thief, Thief!"

Kind of reminds me of the time a kid stole my Schwinn Paramount, Full Campy Super Record equipped bike out of my garage.

Friend of mine at the local bike shop called me the next day to tell me he was holding my bike and the kid in his shop.  Kid brought the bike into the shop cause he couldn't figure out how to put air in tires with Presta valve stems!

I will keep my eyes open once race season starts in the NW.

Actually, newenough.com no longer sells used leathers.  :(

What year is your Paramount? Roger may have painted it!
