We only hope Bill knew how much he meant to everyone involved with racing, not just racers.  He was so kind and patient with family members when there was a crash.  Thank you for all you did for us, Bill.  God speed.  We will miss you.

Bill was such a great guy I always had a blast with him at the races! He always would have a jug of water waitning for us when we came in and waited for SS tech! He was a class act I also hope he realized how much he meant to everyone at the track. I was really hoping to see him at homestead next weekend. He always made me laugh even when i had a bad race. Godspeed bill and tell MD hi for us!!!

Great guy...I have been racing since 1996 and he has been a "fixture" at just about every track I've been to here in the S.E.  It will be strange not seeing him there,,,

R.I.P. Bill...

I understand that Bill's body has been cremated.

See messages below and this web link from Smokin Joe McKay:

This from Keith Shearon:
Bill asked that his ashes be spread in two places.  The first is over a body of water near his home.  This will probably occur sometime in the next few weeks.  The second place will be one of our race venues, most likely in Florida, and hopefully at a race we expect to have a large turn-out.  There will be a brief memorial service at each location.  The family will reveal more details soon.

And from Gary McQuistion:
To all,
Bill wishes for each of us to be remembered him by a donation to the Roadracing World air-fence fund. he loved racing and everyone he worked with to. He made his 51th. birthday 25th. Nov. Bill passed Nov 26th.He at rest now.
