If you hate Internet explorer and are looking for an option, try the new Firefox web browser.

It will import your settings, cookies and favorites from IE and Netscape and does a cool Tab setting where you don't have to open a series of windows; instead you can just switch between pages without having to open IE each time. This will save all sorts of time for eBay watchers and bidders.

Go to //www.mozilla.org for the free download.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

It's the same thing or very close to the same thing as Mac OS X Safari.  lol ;D

spyderchick

Yes, but even safari users like it better.  :P

Firefox does rule...

you can customize the "theme" of your browser...changes the look and style.

not to mention how much more secure it is in comparison to IE.

Now someone needs to make a Microcrap knockoff version of OS X Sherlock.  That is the baddest program there is.  No need to waste time with it.  Want to find out quick info, don't even have to open a browser and go thru all the legwork.  I love that program.  You can get all your info. for so many things in one place, and you don't have to go to a website to get it.  Dictonary, movies, ebay, weather, phone book, medical reference, and 100 other things, and still don't have to open a single browser windows.  With movies and such, you can even watch the movie trailer within Sherlock.   That program is pimp  8)

I can't imagine life w/o the convience of the "tabbed" browsing, just opening the browser to the 5 sites I visit everyday is soooooo nice......

Quotenot to mention how much more secure it is in comparison to IE.

Let's mention it  :)

How much more secure is it? Should I implement it for users at work and get rid of IE?

The experts seem to think that the security of Firefox is superior to that of IE. But then a roll of toilet paper would provide more security than IE.  ;)

Do your research, because they also offer a mail client in Thunderbird, and best part is it's all open source.
