I will try not to make this too long winded. Let me say that this was a well deserved vacation for me and the girls. What a great trip and time it was. We left Sunday and drove to Leesburg in central Fl. to my familys and arrived on Monday afternoon. My Mother and both sisters live there. My younger sister (she likes that term) works for Disney so she took the girls and me to the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday then we went to MGM on Wednesday. the girls stayed at my Mom's while I was at Homestead. I left for Miami at about 3am Thursday and got to the track around 9:30 I guess. I met up with Bob Weirnts and shared a garage with him for the weekend. Ed Key was pitted next to us and Keven Gordon was behind us. What great garage buddies to have. I missed the morning practices because I had to get new tires. Got the tires and ran the afternoon practice. What a awsome facility this place is! I was very impressed. Learning the layout of the track was a breeze, getting the feel was a struggle for me. Rember my first few practice sessions at Gingerman? Went like that almost all weekend. Ed on the other hand, was just scarry fast by the end of the day Saturday. I ran 5 races for the weekend. In the CCS races I placed 7th 8th 9th and 10th. In the FUSA Thunderbike I placed 18th. Over all I can't complain about anything! The weather was almost perfect the whole time. Mid to upper 80's. Just a little rain on Sat that didn't effect me at all. Got one hellofa tan! I think the next time I get a chance to go, I will bring a bigger set of balls! lol The track was alot like Gateway but much much better! I really liked the layout and the track surface. The biggest bummer about the weekend was Bill having a heart attack in front of the tower. I hope he has a full and speedy recovery! Most racers left on Saturday. I was a little dissapointed in the turnout. We had more racers and fans at the BHF Wegman weekend. Watching Ed Key win his 3 championships was just thrilling to see! It was almost 4! Way to go Ed! It was so cool just to ba a small part of that! The man is amazing on a  bike. I shared a room with my buddy Dean Hagaman and we went out to dinner with His rider Dan Bilansky and there other pitman Freak. I think his real name was Jimmy. I cant rember. Sorry Freak! We also hung out with Joe Rozynski. Dan and Joe were pitted together. Any how... I HAD A BLAST! Ed said it best on Sunday afternoon... "this is a once in a lifetime oppritunity!" I am grateful to of had the chance to go. This is a trip for the memory books for sure! any how, I went back to my Mom's Sunday night and took the girls to Daytona beach for some power tanning and a little relaxation time before the trip home on Tuesday. Now I have to get my act together for the 05 season. Well.. thats about it! Great time, good season over all, bike is in one piece, body is in one piece, Becky still likes me, it dosen't get any better than that!  ;) Bern!

YIKES! :o

That thing's short but a bit intimidating to look at.  I did see a couple punctuation marks, so I guess it's not truly stream of consciousness writing ;)

Lemme go an see... read what ya say..uh wrote ;D

Couple things while you're lurking nearby Bern.

You drove your truck and pulled the trailer right?  How long did it take you to get to Leesburg?  Did you drive straight through?

I know it was short but you kind of get the idea. Maybe I should get with K-3 and get some writing tips?!  :-/ ;)

I drove straight back, not there. It took me 18 1/2. hours from Leesburg. And yes, I took the truck and Karls little fiberglass trailer.

I coulda sworn I saw him pick up five championship trophies at the ceremony Sunday night. And the man is 49 years old!
