Hi Everyone
For those of you that race Southest and Florida regions you probably know Bill Parr, (he wears many hats in many areas for CCS) he suffered a heart attack at ROC on Saturday and last I heard he was still critical at the hospital in Homestead. Have been traveling home al moring and have not heard any updates but please keep him in you thoughts and prayers.

To all of the competitors at the ROC - WAY TO GO!!! Awesome event...

Thank you
Jenny/Buffy

Wishes sent.

Can you give me a more detailed description of Bill?  He's not the Bill who used to be a longed hair hippy guy, but now a short haired grid marshall?

I just spoke to Bill. Somehow he got a cel phone and called me. He says he is doing better but is still in ICU. I'll try to keep all those concerned up to date on him. He is a former racer and did his job because he loved being around all of you.

Glad to hear Bill is doing better...Henry, please give him a hug from the Meyers family.  He has been so wonderful to all of us for the last two years.

What a shock! I was talking to Bill earlier in the week and he was looking forward to the December Homestead races. I didn't realize what was going on in Victory Lane because of the hub-bub in the Tech Garage.
I hope to at least see him loitering at the track in December if not working.

I spoke to his mom yesterday and he is now out of ICU and in a standard hospital room. She said he is eating and spirits are up. So things are much better now. I just hope his condition keeps improving. He's a "tough old boy".

Update: Bill just called me and said he was still in ICU but would be in a regular room tomorrow. He sounds good! But I don't think he should be using a cel phone where he is.
